Anonymous asked: Are you back from Sweden? What was the best part?
Yes. It’s silly, but the small puddles scattered around like loose change - little mirrors on the ground poised to reflect the lilac skies above - the water there was special.
The forests, too. Fir lined the horizon in any direction you looked…they were incredibly familiar, kinda like the strong brow of the grandfather you never met, but love and admire, regardless.
And man, the moss and the lichen reminded me so much of wedding confetti, launched high into the air, settling happily on anything still enough. Mother Nature, in this case, being the overzealous wedding guest that she is. Coating everything in sight, they clung to the world like a bright green and steely-jade second skin. So perfect, and so different from southern california (though she’s a total babe in her own right).
